Clive Daley (Chairman)

I see the potential in every business and bring solutions shaped by a lifetime of experience. I am, at heart, a business optimist.

At sixteen, a visit to a department store opened my eyes to the world of retail its scale, energy, and precision. That moment sparked a career spent exploring every level of business and retail that has included senior commercial positions with retailers such as John Lewis, Curry’s, B&Q and Superdrug, and then I went on to head up supplier businesses to the retail sector.

This allowed me to immerse myself in companies around the world, gaining insight into different cultures and ways of working. I’ve dedicated my career to understanding how businesses operate and how they can improve.

For the past 13 years as a consultant I specialise in analysing organisations, identifying opportunities, and delivering practical improvements. I’m equally passionate about sharing that knowledge through coaching and collaboration.

I thrive on challenge, questioning assumptions, and finding better ways forward. Helping businesses evolve and succeed is what drives me...and still excites that same curiosity I discovered at sixteen.

Charlotte Cook (Deputy Chair)

I joined Simplyhealth Group (previously HSA) in 2005, and in August 2022 stepped into lead a newly created team, as Senior Sustainability & Resilience Manager.

Originally training as a teacher, specialising in Geography and Environmental Sciences, I transitioned those skills into the corporate, public and third sectors, undertaking roles in training and development, employer branding and CSR including at Halfords, Test Valley Borough Council and Hospice UK.

Over the last 15 years, as an internal communications and events professional, I have led award winning culture and engagement and internal communications teams, through various M&As, and strategic change programmes. I am a qualified coach (Oxford School of Coaching & Mentoring) and has also undertaken and shaped consultancy programmes (Roffey Park Institute).

David Moulton (Treasurer)

I joined TVCS (now known as Unity) as Treasurer at the beginning of 2013 after having retired from my own business in the Motor Trade.

As an accountant I am eager to serve the organisation in that capacity. It is very rewarding for me to put something back into the community and I relish the challenges that Unity faces in the foreseeable future.

My appointment arose through my connections and membership of the Andover Rotary Club which has a parallel function to our organisation in serving the local community.

I am married with 3 sons and 6 grandsons and live in the New Forest with my wife Vicky.

Ange Moon

I have worked for the Citizens Advice service since 1998 and since 2015 have been Chief Officer of Citizens Advice Test Valley.

I work closely with my colleagues in Hampshire and am currently looking at more collaborative working with the new local government restructure plans.

As a key charity within Test Valley, I also understand the importance of the voluntary sector and working together with Test Valley.

Prior to joining the Citizens Advice service I worked at various solicitors offices and within the Court service.

I have lived and worked in Andover for nearly 40 years and am invested in the town and its future.

In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, walking and travelling.

Liz Neilson

I have worked in the commercial insurance industry for over 25 years and now operates my own brokerage in Romsey.

Over the years I have had personal involvement with various local charities in Southampton and the Test Valley area. I have worked as a voluntary youth worker and counsellor, after extensively studying psychotherapy at Southampton University, predominantly working in the field of addictions.

I have been the Chair of the PTA at my son’s primary school and have also sat on the council of Insurance Institute of Southampton.

My business now specialises in supporting charities and not for profit organisations in obtaining insurance. I am also currently on the management committee of Andover Women in Business.

I have lived in the Test Valley for most of my life (other than spending a few years in California) and I now live in Romsey with my husband and 18 year old son, together with a menagerie of pets. I am a keen golfer and spend most weekends out on the course.

Karen Hamilton

I am a dedicated community leader, volunteer, and advocate have spent over 40 years supporting charities, local organisations, and individuals across Hampshire.

As Chair of the Pride of Andover Awards, Past Mayor and Mayoress of Test Valley, and Director of Family Harmony Ltd, I am passionate about bringing people together and helping others thrive.

Having raised millions of pounds for charitable causes and supported over 180 charities, I am committed to strengthening communities through collaboration, compassion, and service.

My work continues to champion local people, celebrate community achievements, and provide support where it is needed most.

I previously supported Unity in my capacity as Councillor in the past, but now I am excited to rejoin in my community capacity.

Heather Neat

Following a long career in local and central government, I retired from regular employment in 2023.

I joined Unity as a Trustee in January 2026 after a 3-year spell as a local councillor.

My career in central government included the DWP and Cabinet Office. My last role in central government was to promote data sharing legislation across the public sector, advising Cabinet Office Ministers and taking new data sharing legislation through Parliament.

Earlier in my career, I worked as a local government manager in both the public and private sector. I specialised in revenues collection and welfare benefits from 1990 onwards, including at Test Valley Borough Council, until joining the Audit Commission to deliver local authority service inspection.

My track record is one of managing change, delivering services, securing efficiencies and developing teams. I am ILM qualified in coaching and mentoring.

Married with adult children and 2 grandchildren, I have lived in Andover since 2002.

Jeannie Satchell

I am currently the Economic Development Service Lead at New Forest District Council.

I bring business and skills experience to Unity as well as a track record in workforce, project management and economic development.

For many years I have supported local and national charities with their governance oversight.

I understand the bigger picture and has devised effective strategies to support growth in a rapidly changing landscape where there are opportunities for both human capital and organisational transformation.
