Meeting the Challenges Together - The Next Phase -

This event builds on the success of May’s ‘Meeting the Challenges Together’ event
Following on from our successful event in May, we’ll be holding a follow up event in July where we would like to engage more groups to explore practical steps that we can take to develop more informal and formal alliances.
To this end for this event we want to involve more groups to explore alliances to:
- Share costs for better resource use
- Reduce competition for limited funds
- Identify common goals among charities
- Exchange expertise for collective benefit
- Showcase voluntary sector collaboration to statutory bodies
- Amplify the sector’s voice in communities
To get things moving, we will explore how Unity’s funding expertise could be used to support joint funding applications from several groups in partnership.
The event will use the World Café format for broad discussions as this worked very well at the last event.
This will take place on Thursday the 17th of July, 9:30am to 12:00pm, at King's Somborne Village Hall, Stockbridge SO20 6PP
