Designed to make life easier for those who need additional mobility support, we take the stress out of sourcing the right equipment needed to help you maintain independence while out and about.
We also give you the opportunity to try different equipment to make sure it suits your needs, before you hire something.
Short and long-term mobility equipment hire
Based at the main Unity office in Andover, Unity Mobility offers short-term and long-term hire arrangements:
- Short-term: ideal for those who want better access to shops and other locations in Andover town centre for a couple of hours
- Long-term: ideal for those who need mobility equipment for longer periods. This service is available across the whole of the Test Valley

We are closed on Sundays and bank holidays.
Please note we will be closed Thursday the 7th of December for staff training.
We will also not be opening until 12:30pm on Thursday the 14th of December.
Please be mindful that hiring any equipment is a pre-bookable service and all bookings must be made before 1:30pm the day prior to hire commencing.
All equipment must be returned up to 30 minutes before close on the final day of your booking.

We run a pre-bookable service and all bookings must be made before 1:30pm the day before you wish to hire any equipment.

For a small fee, we can arrange delivery of long-term equipment to your home. Short-term hires will need to be collected from our office during opening hours.

Access to our Changing Places facility
We are proud to offer a safe and clean environment at our Changing Places facility based at Andover bus station. Available to those who require the use of a fully accessible restroom it includes a changing bench and hoist, and accommodates up to two carers.
Changing Places Toilet Opening Times: Monday to Saturday, 9:30am to 2:30pm

Car parking availability for Unity Mobility customers
Parking is available at the rear of our office in the Chantry Centre for mobility customers looking to pick up / drop off hired equipment. This parking is also available to shoppers in the town centre who have hired equipment on a short-term basis. There is level access from the car park into our reception area.
Car parking permits
Car parking permits are available from our office on collection of hired equipment. Permits must be returned at the end of hire.
