Join Southern Test Older Independent Campaigners (STOIC), a welcoming and friendly group for people aged 55 and over across southern Test Valley. STOIC provides a relaxed and sociable space where members can meet new people, connect with friends, and take part in a wide range of engaging activities. STOIC provides a relaxed and sociable space where members can meet new people, connect with friends, and take part in a wide range of engaging activities. Meetings focus on conversation, shared interests, and important topics that affect older people in the community.
What to expect
- A friendly and inclusive social environment
- Opportunities to meet others and make connections
- Activities such as chats, games, and quizzes
- Informative discussions and guest speakers
- A chance to share ideas and experiences
Membership & refreshments
- Membership is £2 per person per month, with a discounted annual option available
- Tea, coffee, and cake are provided at meetings
Monthly focus
Each meeting explores different themes and topics. Sessions may include discussions on important issues, such as promoting positive ageing and tackling age-related challenges, as well as celebrating the contributions of older people in the community.
