FISH is a series of exciting, themed summer sessions taking place every Thursday at Knights Enham School in Andover. Designed for children and young people of all ages, each session is packed with fun, creativity, and engaging activities in a welcoming and friendly environment.

Every week brings a brand-new theme from fun fairs and the Olympics to superheroes, history, eco activities, and the circus so there’s always something different to enjoy. Sessions include a range of games, crafts, and themed activities that encourage creativity, teamwork, and having fun.

Weekly Family Fun Events

Join us this Summer for a series of themed, family-friendly events packed with creative activities, games, and hands-on fun. Perfect for all ages!

Fun Fair Day - Thursday 23rd July

Enjoy all the excitement of a classic fun fair with games, crafts, and outdoor activities for all ages.

Activities include:

  • Creative craft table featuring finger painting and potato printing
  • Knock the cans down challenge
  • Ring toss games
  • Design and make your own bunting or flags
  • Sack races and other fun race games
  • Outdoor football sessions for older children

Olympics Day - Thursday 30th July

Get active and take part in your very own mini Olympics with fun challenges and creative activities.

Activities include:

  • Mini obstacle course (running, jumping and agility challenges)
  • Design and create your own Olympic medal
  • “Pin the Torch on the Olympian” game
  • Special visit from Kick Start FC
  • Traditional sports day races including:
    • Egg and spoon race (plastic)
    • Wheelbarrow race
    • Sack race
    • Three-legged race

Superhero vs Villain Day - Thursday 6th August

Unleash your inner hero (or villain!) and take part in an action-packed session of creativity and challenges.

Activities include:

  • Design and create your own superhero cape
  • Make your own mask
  • Create your very own superhero identity (name, powers & story)
  • Take on our Hero vs Villain obstacle course
  • Complete a “Save the Day” challenge
  • Build a villain’s hideout using craft materials

History Fun Day - Thursday 13th August

Step back in time and explore fun activities inspired by the past.

Activities include:

  • History-themed word search
  • Traditional playground games like hopscotch and hula hoop
  • Dress-up corner with historical costumes and props
  • Build your own mini castle or pyramid
  • Play with classic toys from the past (skipping ropes, marbles, and more)
  • Take part in a “Guess the Historical Object” challenge

Eco-Friendly Creations - Thursday 20th August

Get creative while learning how to care for our planet through fun and hands-on activities.

Activities include:

  • Upcycle old computer keyboards into unique creations
  • Junk modelling with recycled materials
  • Plant your own seeds using recycled pots
  • Make a simple bird feeder to take home
  • Recycling sorting challenge game
  • Add your promise to our Eco Hero Pledge Wall

Circus Fun Day - Thursday 27th August

Step right up and experience the excitement of the circus!

Activities include:

  • Special guest appearance from a circus performer
  • Learn basic juggling skills
  • Try plate spinning and balance challenges
  • Circus-themed face painting
  • Test your balance on our “tightrope”
  • Take part in a mini talent show

Don’t forget: Collect a stamp each week and earn a small prize at the end of the series!

To help support families, a free food bag is provided at the end of each session.
