Charlton Village Community Day

The Charlton Village Community Association is inviting residents and visitors to join them for Charlton Village Community Day at Charlton Park.

Taking place on Saturday 4th July from 12pm to 4pm, this free, family-friendly event offers an afternoon of entertainment and activities for all ages.

What to expect:

• A variety of food and drink stalls
• Inflatables for children
• A programme of arena events and activities
• Balloon twisting
• Face painting

Fun Dog Show

As part of the day, the Association will also be hosting a Fun Dog Show in the arena at 2:30pm. Entry is £1 per class, with registration on the day.

Classes include:

• Most Handsome Dog
• Prettiest Bitch
• Best Rescue
• Golden Oldie
• Best Trick

The show will conclude with a Best in Show award.

Raffle Prize Draw

Visitors will also have the chance to take part in a raffle, with tickets priced at £1 each or £5 per book, offering a wide range of prizes, including:

• Thruxton driving experience (Porsche Cayman)
• Family ticket to Whitchurch Silk Mill
• Wine and glasses
• 2-seater garden swing
• Hawk Conservancy family admission
• Bottle of malt whisky
• Afternoon tea for two in Andover

This annual event is organised to bring the community together, celebrate local spirit and provide a fun, welcoming space for people to connect and enjoy the summer.
