Meals on Wheel Service in Hampshire
Health & Independent Living Support (HILS) in Hampshire. We are a not-for-profit charitable social enterprise who provide the Hampshire County Council’s meals on wheels service, delivering hot meals across Hampshire, 365 days a year, whatever the weather.
All our meals are nutritionally balanced, and we cater for everyone’s dietary requirements. They are delivered hot and ready to eat by our Community Team Members who are all DBS checked. Every visit includes delivery of a hot meal and dessert, along with a caring wellbeing check. There are no contracts, and clients can order meals as a one-off, or for as long as they would like them.
Key information:
• Hot meals delivered seven days a week, 365 days a year
• Wide range of choice to suite all diets and taste
• Suitable for short- or long-term help (such as when you are coming out of hospital, recovering from an illness, or as a one-off)
• Daily wellbeing checks carried out on delivery of a hot meal and dessert
• No contract, clients can have meals delivered from one to seven days a week, and stop and restart the service whenever they wish
