Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (including hospitals in Andover, Basingstoke and Winchester) is consistently rated as one of the best for patient care and our volunteer force are a vital component. It is a source of immense pride to us that we have over 600 volunteers not only in the main hospitals but also out in the community. Not a day goes by without someone, whether staff, patients or visitors, benefiting from the selfless generosity of volunteers. Our volunteer force is as diverse as our patients - aged from 17 to whatever, there is no upper age limit! There is a huge variety of opportunities within the Foundation Trust, including: providing a patient with wayfinding information, supporting a patient during a mealtime, providing companionship for our patients living with dementia, fundraising and event support at local events and even gardening! (Please note not all opportunities exist on every site).
