Woodland Restoration Volunteer

Description

We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers with a passion for the outdoors to help breathe new life into local woodlands and boost biodiversity across the outer villages. As part of our woodland restoration project, you’ll play a hands‑on role in caring for natural habitats — from scrub clearance and dead‑hedge building to installing bird and bat boxes that support thriving wildlife.

You’ll join a friendly and dedicated team working to create healthier, more resilient woodland spaces for future generations. No specialist experience is needed — just an interest in conservation, a willingness to get stuck in, and readiness to work in all weathers. Join us for a weekly session and make a real, tangible difference to the local environment.

About the Role

This rewarding opportunity involves supporting woodland restoration efforts as part of our ecological improvement work. Volunteers will help increase biodiversity by opening up woodland areas, creating habitats for animals and insects, and assisting with practical conservation tasks.

Sessions take place on Wednesdays.
