Romsey Family Support Group are seeking a Treasurer to join its Board of Trustees.
You will receive full support from a friendly, experienced Board and a passionate Chair with over 40 years’ service, alongside guidance, resources, and a welcoming team to help you succeed in the role.
As Treasurer, you will oversee the charity’s financial management and play a key role in supporting its long-term sustainability and impact. Working closely with the Chair, Manager, and fellow Trustees, you will contribute to strategic planning and ensure sound financial governance.
You will:
Oversee the charity’s finances and financial controls
Monitor budgets and financial performance
Ensure financial compliance and good governance
Prepare and present financial reports to the Board
Support financial planning and strategic decision-making
Advise Trustees on financial risks and opportunities
Strong financial knowledge and attention to detail
Good judgement and integrity
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Commitment to the charity’s mission and long-term sustainability
Experience in finance, accounting, or financial management (desirable)
A DBS (criminal record) check will be required
Full support from a friendly, experienced Board
Mentoring and guidance from a long-standing Chair
Access to resources and information to support your role
