Description

Koala (More Education) is seeking passionate and committed individuals to join our Board of Trustees. As a Trustee, you will play a vital role in shaping the charity’s future and ensuring the successful delivery of our 2025–27 Strategy.

About the Role

As a Trustee, you will help guide the organisation’s strategy, governance, and key projects. You will:

  • Provide constructive challenge and strategic guidance to the CEO and senior leadership team
  • Champion the mission and values of More Education
  • Support strong governance and effective oversight
  • Represent the charity externally where needed
  • Take part in a working group supporting the implementation of the charity strategy

Skills We're Looking For

We welcome applicants from a variety of backgrounds and are especially interested in individuals with experience in:

  • Corporate leadership
  • HR
  • Finance
  • Legal
  • School governance
  • Education sectors  (These skills will complement the existing board and strengthen its capacity).

Requirements

  • This role requires a DBS check (criminal record check)

Suitability

Availability

Trustee commitments may involve meetings or tasks scheduled across Monday to Sunday. Many responsibilities can be carried out remotely.
