15th Romsey (North Baddesley) Scout Group is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Scouts Team Leaders to support young people aged 10.5–14 on their Scouting journey. This role is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference while having fun and being part of a friendly, supportive team.
As a Scouts Team Leader, you’ll help deliver a wide range of activities that engage, challenge, and inspire our Scouts. You will work with a group of amazing young people, supporting their growth, teamwork, and confidence, while helping to ensure all sessions are safe and enjoyable.
You will:
Lead and support Scouts in a variety of activities, both indoors and outdoors
Plan and run engaging sessions that could include cooking, crafting, adventures, and archery
Work as part of a volunteer team to provide a fun and safe environment
Help young people develop skills for life and enjoy their Scouting journey
Teamwork and leadership skills
Good communication skills
Experience or confidence in working with 10.5–14 year olds
Enthusiasm, patience, and creativity
No previous Scouting experience required; training provided
A DBS (criminal record) check will be required
Full training provided
Guidance and support from experienced leaders
This role is suitable for:
Those who want to work indoors
Those who want to work outdoors
Mondays, 7:00pm – 9:00pm
