Join the Romsey Young Carers Fundraising Committee. Romsey Young Carers is looking for enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our newly formed Fundraising Committee. This is a great opportunity to make a real difference by helping us raise awareness of our work and generate vital funds to support young carers in our community.

The committee meets regularly online and provides a supportive and collaborative space for members to share ideas and take part in fundraising activities.

Typical activities may include:

  • Giving talks and presentations about the charity.
  • Representing Romsey Young Carers at local events.
  • Organising stalls and community fundraising activities
  • Supporting the submission of small grant applications
  • The committee is co-chaired by the charity’s Fundraiser and Manager and is supported by our Board of Trustees.
  • If you’re passionate about helping young carers and would like to contribute your time, ideas, or skills, we’d love to hear from you.

What particular skills are needed for this role?
Strong communication and interpersonal skills Organised, proactive, and able to work as part of a team.  Creative ideas for fundraising and community engagement.
