A local museum in Andover is looking for friendly and reliable volunteers to support front-of-house operations. This role is ideal for those interested in gaining experience in customer service, visitor engagement, and cultural venues.
As a Front of House Volunteer, you will be involved in the day-to-day running of the museum, helping to create a welcoming and positive experience for all visitors.
You will:
Welcome visitors to the museum
Process digital ticket sales
Support café and shop operations
Assist with general front-of-house duties
Help ensure visitors have an enjoyable and smooth experience
This is a hands-on role offering great exposure to museum operations.
Friendly and approachable manner
Basic computer skills
Willingness to learn and engage with visitors
Relevant qualifications or training
Ability to work scheduled volunteer days
Full hands-on training
