Activity co-ordinating

We are looking for keen volunteers to come and spend time with our service users, we care for younger adults with learning disabilities, planning days out, supporting them out in the garden, baking and cooking with them, helping carry out self care tasks like nail painting etc.

We welcome any one with a creative to help plan and carry out out creative and fun ideas you may have that our service users would enjoy. DBS checks are not necessary to this opportunity but if you do have one it will open up more opportunities to carry out outside of our unit

What activities will the volunteer perform or take part in?
1. Arts and crafts

2. Cooking/Baking sessions

3. Befriending - visiting the service users for a cuppa and a chat

4. Cinema/Film nights

5. Walking group

6. Gentle exercise sessions

7. Games sessions - board games, jigsaws, outdoor games
