Description

Your role will be to work with members of the volunteer gardening team to support the care of the Garden for Mind and maintain it to an excellent standard and to help create an attractive, welcoming garden for the benefit of our visitors.

What particular skills are needed for this role?
An interest and knowledge of basic garden experience (Not essential but willing to learn), Ability to work on both own initiative and as part of a team.

What activities will the volunteer perform or take part in?
General gardening tasks including planting, pruning, weeding,watering, mulching, cutting back, potting etc. Maintaining the site, including shrub borders, hedges, pots, hanging baskets and containers etc.
