Our mission is to connect individuals with local groups and organisations that offer activities and advice tailored to their unique needs, fostering the creation of strong, confident communities.
Where local services fall short, we strive to fill those gaps, ensuring no one is left without the support they need.
We offer a free Telephone Befriending Service so you can chat with one of our friendly volunteers over the phone, all from the comfort of your own home.
The Community Wellbeing service is to provide short term, preventative support to individuals over 65.
Our Virtual Wards Social Support service connects our project workers to patients and their carers that are receiving treatment on a virtual ward instead of being admitted to hospital.
Our friendly and reliable support workers have been helping residents in Test Valley for years. They’re highly trained and caring, ensuring you get the best support possible.
We aim to provide the same support worker for each visit. If your regular worker is unavailable, you can choose to wait or accept a different worker.
Whether you want to chat, read, play games, or watch a movie, our support workers are there for you. They can also take you out for a drive, a walk, or a coffee. Just let us know in advance for outings.
Our workers can assist with light chores like hanging laundry or loading the dishwasher. They can also help make drinks, prepare simple meals, or reheat food.
All our support workers are trained in First Aid and will call a paramedic in emergencies. They won’t lift clients after a fall but will ensure you’re safe until help arrives. They’re also DBS checked and covered by public liability insurance.
While they can’t administer medication, they can remind you to take it.
