Designed for children aged 2–11, Nature Explorers blends interactive storytelling, hands-on crafts, and outdoor adventures, offering an enriching alternative to screen time and summer boredom. Thursday 7th August
‘Under the Awongalema Tree’
Step into a joyful African folktale that celebrates self-belief and courage. Led by Natalia and Matt (graduates from our Youth Team and long standing volunteers), this session features vibrant storytelling, tree-themed crafts, and energetic games.
Thursday 14th August
‘Little Red Riding Hood’
Amanda from Merry-go-Round Storytelling brings this classic fairytale to life with puppetry, mask-making, and drama games that let children step right into the story.
Tuesday 19th August
‘Plant Detectives: Secrets of the Wood’
An outdoor nature quest with Hebe (our ecology intern for 2025!) and the team! Children become woodland explorers—solving plant mysteries and crafting their own plant fairies using natural materials.

‘If You Go Down to the Woods Today…’
