The Andover Pool Association is proud to announce the first ever Jimmy Lunness Open, taking place on Friday 3rd October 2025, the evening before the prestigious Andover Open begins. This brand-new tournament is set to be a highlight of the weekend, celebrating the life and passion of Jimmy Lunness – a much-loved advocate for Andover Pool who worked tirelessly to promote the game and help players develop their skills.

Competition Details:

• Open to: Players of D Standard or below (eligibility can be confirmed with the organisers).

• Capacity: Limited to 32 entries, played across 10 tables.

• Prize Fund: £1,000 guaranteed, plus the honour of being the first name engraved on the brand-new Jimmy Lunness Trophy.

• Format: Competitive yet welcoming, designed to encourage newer or developing players to shine.
