With a mop in one hand and a song in her heart, little orphan Annie belts her way through the dreariest of days, turning hard knocks into showstoppers. This October, Andover Musical Theatre Company’s (AMTC) youth group Starlights brings the timeless family favourite Annie Jr to the stage at Harrow Way School on 24, 25 and 26 October.
Set in 1930s New York, Annie Jr is a toe-tapping, heartwarming musical where scrappy optimism wins out over gloom, a stray dog becomes a star, and even the grumpiest billionaire can’t resist a chorus of “Tomorrow.” It’s a rags-to-riches tale full of sass, sunshine and songs that the whole family will love.
Tickets are £12 each, or just £10 each when you buy 5 or more, and are only available online at andovermusicaltheatre.co.uk/annie-jr.
