Experience Whitchurch Silk Mill decorated for Christmas. On the banks of the River Test, our living museum in beautiful rural Hampshire is a real-life time capsule. It is part living museum, part Regency water mill, and part contemporary silk weaver. Each of the Mill’s floors will be decorated to recreate scenes from the Mill’s past, as if the Weavers had just left moments before. Experience Whitchurch Silk Mill decorated for Christmas.

On the banks of the River Test, our living museum in beautiful rural Hampshire is a real-life time capsule. It is part living museum, part Regency water mill, and part contemporary silk weaver. Each of the Mill’s floors will be decorated to recreate scenes from the Mill’s past, as if the Weavers had just left moments before.

The Mill will get a seasonal makeover for Christmas with a recreation of Weaver’s Cottage with a table laid with gingerbread figures and a figgy pudding mix where visitors can make a wish. On the top floor, the mill manager has provided a lavish feast for his weavers.
