Romsey Signal Box dates back to 1865 and is a working museum which gives an insight into the life of a railway signalman. Visitors can get a “hands on” experience by operating points, clearing signals and ringing bells to control a simulation of trains passing through Romsey. The site also has a visitor centre containing a miniature signalbox where working demonstrations are run most open days, along with restored artefacts, photographs and the history of the restoration. Romsey Signal Box dates back to 1865 and is a working museum which gives an insight into the life of a railway signalman. Visitors can get a “hands on” experience by operating points, clearing signals and ringing bells to control a simulation of trains passing through Romsey.

The site also has a visitor centre containing a miniature signalbox where working demonstrations are run most open days, along with restored artefacts, photographs and the history of the restoration. There is a picnic and garden area and a small café facility. The next day it is open is the Saturday 17 May
