Romsey-based Greenbuttercup CIC's services promote ‘Independent Living’ and ‘Wellbeing’ through free/low-cost workshops & activities (including Community Art projects) for vulnerable groups and individuals including those with Dementia.
We hold regular activity groups for people living with Dementia and their relatives/carers in the Green Room of the Plaza Theatre three times a month on a Friday morning from 10.30 a.m. - 12.30 p.m. 'Arts & Crafts' is held on the first Friday of the month; a ‘Reminiscence Activity’ group on the third Friday of the month; and an informal and fun ‘Sing-along’ on the fourth Friday. Other activities and outings take place throughout the year. Activities can be adapted to suit all abilities and stages of Dementia.
