Friends of Romsey Abbey

The Friends is a registered Charity, No. 1134191 which aims, through social contact and fun events as well as fund raising and annual subscriptions, to support the Abbey by meeting its aims:

Publicise the Abbey effectively
Draw more people to the Abbey
Enhance the Abbey experience for all
Educate people of all ages

The funds we raise are utilised to contribute towards physical improvements to the Abbey which can fulfill all those aims. Some of these funds are raised by a series of trips and events the programme for which varies from year to year. Bi-monthly Coffee Mornings in the Town Hall are a great way to take the first step and you’ll find a warm and welcoming ambiance.
