Description

As a Community Club Volunteer, you will welcome and support members during weekly group sessions, helping to create a friendly, inclusive environment. You will prepare and clear the space, equipment and refreshments, deliver enjoyable activities, and represent Valley Leisure Ltd. by bringing the “I Can” spirit to life and upholding the values of Empower, Excellence and Community. As Reporting Volunteer, you will also open and close the venue, register participants, and report low refreshments or any equipment, building or safety concerns to the Community Coordinator.

What activities will you perform or take part in?

This role involves working positively and proactively with fellow volunteers during sessions; warmly welcoming and registering members; helping to set up chairs, tables and equipment; preparing and serving refreshments; helping to run activities, successfully.

What particular skills are needed for this role?

You will be reliable and punctual, communicate well, uphold boundaries and confidentiality, remain non-judgemental, and be comfortable listening without giving advice.
