Make a Difference Through Friendship and Support
Are you a warm, caring and reliable person who enjoys spending time with others? As a Community Befriending Volunteer, you can help improve the wellbeing of people living with a life-limiting or chronic illness who may be feeling lonely or isolated.
Community Befrienders are matched with a patient and provide regular visits in the person's own home, offering companionship, conversation and emotional support. Your time and friendship can help reduce feelings of isolation and increase confidence, self-worth and overall wellbeing.
