Unity Youth Ambassador

The Test Valley-based charity has identified a thirst for young people wanting to voice themselves on the conversations that revolve around them, especially locally.

Working alongside our Youth Ambassador and Member of Youth Parliament (MYP), Dmitrijs Meiksans, we have created Unity Youth – a branch of the charity, helping young people to become vital members of the community through developing opportunities and activities.

We are delighted to confirm that Dmitrijs has agreed to become a Unity Ambassador for Youth and will be encouraging young people to become volunteers not only to support local charities but to also enable them to enhance their own skills in the future.

Unsung Heroes Award 2021

Supported by Andover Town Council, Romsey Town Council, The Lifestyle Card, Love Andover and Test Valley Borough Council, the ‘Test Valley COVID-19 Unsung Heroes Award’ ran for ten weeks from the 1st March 2021 with the aim to recognise two unsung heroes weekly shortlisted from a pool of nominations received by members of the public.
