Unity to the rescue!

July 11, 2019

Unity Transport came to the rescue of Andover Trees United this month when their Archaeological event was in danger of cancellation after a bus company let the organisation down at the eleventh hour.

Children from schools across Test Valley including Vernham Dene, Andover Church of England, Portway and a number of others schools were transported to the site over a week of activities commencing on 21st June.   During this period, Unity Transport provided 13 buses to help Andover Trees United, no mean feat when they are so busy at this time of year.

Graham McLane, Transport Manager said, “This was a massive undertaking by Unity Transport and without our volunteer drivers, it would not have been possible to assist in this way.  We are just glad we were able to assist Andover Trees United and the schools and children who were looking forward to getting involved.”

If you want to do some worthwhile for your local community, join us as a volunteer driver.
