For many people, seeking support from those with experience in understanding the emotional impact of loss can bring reassurance, as well as help them to feel less alone during this difficult time. Listed below are organisations that offer free, professional and peer support options to connect with at any point following a bereavement.

Local
Death Positive Libraries in Hampshire aim to remove barriers to talking about death and dying. They offer helpful books for adults and children, and some venues run free, monthly ‘Living with Loss’ sessions. Find out more at your local library or search online at hants.gov.uk/death-positive


Cruse provides free bereavement support, no matter how long you have been grieving.
