Grant applications available to support Ukrainian refugees in Hampshire

Community and voluntary organisations can now apply for grants to help fund projects that will help Ukrainian refugees to settle in Hampshire

Leader of Hampshire County Council, Councillor Keith Mans, said: “Together with our partners, we are focusing our efforts to ensure that Ukrainian refugees arriving in Hampshire are greeted with a warm welcome and practical help to settle into life in the county, such as providing help to access schools and health services.
“There has already been an incredibly generous response from residents as part of the national Homes of Ukraine scheme, and now communities can apply for grants of up to £5,000 from Hampshire County Council for projects that will help Ukrainian arrivals to access the support they need.”
Applications for grant funding can be made by Parish and Town Councils, or any constituted community organisation.
