Funding for Technology from TVBC

Cllr Anderson, Terry Bishop (Unity and Cllr Cockaday

Unity were delighted to receive a cheque from Test Valley Borough Council this week, following an application for funds supported by Cllr. John Cockaday, Cllr. Iris Andersen and Cllr. David Denny.  This funding has contributed to the purchase of a new multimedia projector to reside in their Andover offices at the Bus Station.
Whilst Unity use the multimedia projector for their own training workshops and events, charities and community groups across Test Valley can also benefit from the new equipment too by utilising the less well known ‘loan’ service.
Cllr. Iris Andersen said “We were very pleased to be able to help buy the projector through the Councillor ward grants as this is an essential piece of equipment which Unity will use throughout the year and which local groups can access.”
If you are involved in a local charity or community group and would like to spruce up your meetings or to improve your marketing, why not think about hiring Unity’s multimedia projector, flip chart or binding machine at a subsidised cost.
