In recent years alone\, tens of thousands of pounds have been distributed annually to causes including health charities\, youth organisations\, disability support groups and local community initiatives. \nWhat makes Walk the Test Way special is its flexibility — participants can raise funds for any registered charity close to their heart. Imagine; one of them had grown up with\, studied\, and witnessed the technological and operational developments in helicopter aviation over the previous 35 years\, whereas the other was plucked from their weary 1960s aircraft\, and dropped into the most modern of 21st Century helicopters\, the AW139. Both cultures sharing that cockpit had a lot to learn.
