South Central Makers returns to Stockbridge with a curated market of independent makers, artists and small businesses. Set along the picturesque High Street, this event offers a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere to browse handmade goods and support local creatives.
Lying in the heart of Test Valley, Stockbridge is a historic market town known for its wide High Street and rich heritage. Once part of an old drovers’ road, the town has inspired poets for generations, with a trail of poetry to discover as you explore. The River Test also runs beneath the High Street, where you might spot trout if you’re lucky.
Parking is free along Stockbridge High Street, although it can get busy during events. Additional parking is available on the A30 London Road near the White Hart roundabout.
Stockbridge is well known for its independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, many serving local produce. The market is a great opportunity to enjoy everything the town has to offer alongside a day of local shopping.
