Unity’s Digital Services is to help Community Groups and Charities serving the Test Valley community to increase efficiency and raise public awareness using digital tools and strategies as well as assisting individuals to become more digitally literate and improve confidence.

Key Information

Full Membership: Open to all non-profit community support organisations that serve the Test Valley Community and reside in the Borough of Test Valley.

Associate Membership: Open to non-profit community support organisations that serve the Test Valley Community but reside elsewhere.

Partnership Membership: Open to organisations of all types who help us to support our community and do not qualify for either full or associate membership. (Charges may apply) 

*Eligibility: To be a voting member of Unity you must be in one or more of the following categories: Voluntary or Community Sector, Faith Group, Social Enterprise and be either a full or associate member. Partnership members are not able to vote at the Annual General Meeting.

• Statutory providers for Transport-only are eligible to sign up as Associate Members only.

For Individuals

Do you or someone you know require assistance with becoming digitally literate As part of Unity’s digital services, we provide 1:2:1 support for individuals requiring assistance.

We offer support with:

Social Media – Looking at setting a particular social media account up? We can help with this and provide tailored 1:2:1 assistance.

Email Accounts – Are you looking at setting up an email account but not sure where to start? Unity is here to help!

Video Conferencing – Looking at connecting with family and friends on a video conferencing platform? We can assist you with setting up accounts, delivering 1:2:1 tailored support.

On behalf of Romsey Bowling Club, I would like to thank Siola-Jay Gardner and Unity for all the help and guidance provided in designing and building our new website. We were delighted to have made contact just at a time when Unity had obtained its funding to assist clubs such as our own with this kind of task. With Siola-Jay’s help, we found it very easy to provide a brief for the design and we have been impressed with the speed with which she responded with alternative options to consider. We are very pleased with the end result and that we will find it easy to manage the site ourselves from now on. We have recommended another local club to use this service and have no hesitation in recommending it to others.
