Digital Inclusion Project – Chromebook Loan Scheme

We were recently approached by Welfare Officer, Captain Ian Bellamy who requested the loan of 2 Chromebooks to support the learning of 2 children of a serving soldier in need.

As part of Unity’s Digital Inclusion Project, Chromebooks are available on a loan scheme to support people in the Test Valley area with the aim of providing digital support, assisting individuals to become more digitally literate and improve upon confidence.

Simplyhealth UK, who kindly donated 43 Chromebooks to support this vital project stated “It’s part of our purpose to support community causes, and we are delighted to be able to support Unity with this donation.”

Unity also offers free, 1:2:1 support either in person or online with a skills-matched volunteer to individuals as part of the Digital Inclusion Project to assist with any computer or digital requirements.
